A stunning new fact filled children's illustrated gift book for kids aged 6 and up

Shortlisted for 2023 British Book Design and Production Award - Educational Books

Informationen zum Autor Miranda Smith has written and edited information books and articles for children and adults on a variety of subjects. Like the children she writes for, she likes to explore and find out about new things. Recently, she has visited Peru's Macchu Picchu and jumped out of an aeroplane, and is currently deciding how to relate these to her writing and what to do next! Jenny Wren is a freelance Illustrator who lives and works in Lichfield, Staffordshire. She mainly undertakes children's book projects, and has worked for Igloo, Parragon and Caterpillar Books, but from time to time also illustrates greeting cards and stationery. Xuan Le is an illustrator based in Saigon, Vietnam. She likes to work in digital, and practical formats, combining strong colours with eccentric details, mixing past, future and surreal worlds together.? Max Rambaldi draws mostly with my graphic tablet, but loves the freshness of watercolors and the mellowness of the acrylics, so always tries to incorporate them by using textured brushes. What she loves more than anything is scientific children books. Juan Calle is former biologist turned science illustrator, trained on the Science Illustration program at UC Monterrey Bay. He worked early on his illustrator career for field guides of plants and animals of his country of origin, Colombia, and now owns and works in his art studio, LIBERUM DONUM. Olga Baumert is an artist and illustrator. Originally from Poland, she studied Fine Art and Jewellery before moving to the UK where she received her degree in Graphic Design and Illustration at De Montfort University. She is mostly inspired by great stories, interaction between people and nature and natural open landscapes, ideally with tiny looking figures in it.
