A failure of international law: case study of the Syrian Arab Republic

The work was written in 2013-2014, when the conflict in Syria was at its peak. This work sets and ambitious goal to find out, who the key players in the conflict are, and how can they be influenced by international law. It becomes clear in the course of the work that adherence to international law is highly selective and arbitrary. This topic has been developed further in a book "Background to the crisis in Syria and perspectives on human rights and humanitarian law violations".
