A framework for systematizing and classifying m-payment techniques

This book addresses mobile payments and guides the reader through the basic elements of what mobile payments are and how they can be used. Furthermore, it offers some examples of applications within the German, Austrian and Swiss markets. It not only introduces the most important fundamental technological components of various m-payment applications, but also guides the reader towards the development of a sophisticated framework, which is aimed to offer an overview of different kinds of m-payments. Thereby, this book also looks at previous concepts of frameworks that dealt with this topic. The result is an informed framework that is systematizing and categorizing mobile payment techniques, capable of including every existing form of m-payments and which is moreover aimed to offer a sustainable grid for further scientific research. It is thus suitable literature for beginners as well as for advanced with an interest in the field of mobile payments.

Christian W. P. Füllenbach was born in 1992 in Koblenz, Germany.He graduated from his B.Sc. in Intl. Business Administration at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2016 and continues to study in the M.Sc. in Management, class of 2018. The development of this book is based on the compiled research serving the author's bachelor thesis.
