A Haitian education system to be modernized

Establishing the basis for a fair, competent professionalism and improving the efficiency of the labor market are two objectives that underlie the existence of a good education system. This article describes the deficiencies of the Haitian education system, which remains in a state of perpetual gestation. It offers ideas for redressing the system, increasing performance, taking into account the severe deterioration and flaws found in the system. It criticizes the quality of higher education and encourages the integration and strengthening of research in general. It also proposes administrative recommendations to rescue higher education. Finally, it examines the solutions that would allow the modernization of public universities, in particular the establishment of laboratories, libraries, integration and consolidation of cooperation with regional or national private companies. The bottom line is that the Haitian higher education system needs a rapid but rational intervention to proceed with the training of qualified professionals who will become agents of sustainable development.
