A holistic yoga facility designed using yogic philosophies

The interior of a yoga studio needs to cater for the body and mind . This phrase and the stressful lifestyles of people today were the motivation to re-use an existing warehouse building to create a yoga centre proposal, called Yoga Life, which would allow visitors to explore a holistic approach to yoga and relieve stress. The author of this dissertation is of the belief that a holistic and optimum functioning yoga facility could be designed by applying yogic philosophies in the interior design, in that way complementing the practice of yoga with visual communications, creating a visual balance between nature and man, creating a sanctuary of tranquility.
