Aislynn Cannon grew up in Lynchburg, VA and received her degreefrom Duke University. She thoroughly enjoyed conducting theresearch for this book. The stories of the people she met inKenya have inspired her both personally and professionally andwill continue to shape the way she thinks as she progresses inthe field of international development.
