A matter of character. A new experience

Through specific chemical processes and photography, I would like to visualize the characters of some selected medicinal plants in this book.I chose five medicinal plants for my artistic research. My own perception of the five medicinal plants and some selected literature were the starting point for my work.Through aesthetic research, I encountered these five medicinal plants in a new and unusual way. During the work I developed a close relationship with these plants. This helped me to get to know their individual characteristics.I used a chemical process to remove the pigments from the medicinal plants as well as photography.Through this targeted change and portraiture, the plant is perceived differently. My aim is to make the character of a medicinal plant visible.

Il mio legame con la natura mi ha accompagnato per tutta la vita e si riflette spesso nel mio lavoro artistico. Dopo aver completato la scuola secondaria e la maturità tecnica, ho iniziato i miei studi presso l'Accademia d'Arte e Design FHNW di Basilea.Attualmente sto studiando per un Master in Mediazione artistica e design a Basilea.
