A methodology for forging chess thinking in young players
Details
There are hundreds of books and manuals on chess which describe openings, tactics, and endings. However, the novice reader often lacks the suggestion of a method on how to study these contents. The peculiarity of the method presented in this text is that it is based on experimentation in the game. In fact, the five phases proposed and the repetitiveness of the ARPPE cycle (Analyze, Recall, Plan, Priority, Execute) described, must necessarily be tested in the game and reread in the analysis phase following the end of the match. Of course, the knowledge of the "bricks" we will talk about must also grow with individual study, both in terms of the number of bricks known and in terms of depth of knowledge. Each brick is associated, in fact, with one or more images (patterns) that must be memorized in order to then be recognized during the game.
