Climate change affects all economic sectors to some degree, but the agricultural sector is perhaps the most sensitive and vulnerable. Melkassa, which is located in the Central Rift Valley of Ethiopia, is one of the areas where sorghum is widely grown. The localized temporal rainfall and temperature variation during cropping season induces an important challenge to sorghum production and in turn to food security. The effect of rainfall and temperature variability on sorghum yield over long period of time is studied using Multivariate time series analysis that is Vector Auto Regressive. The book is useful for researchers, academicians and students.

Tigist is a graduate from Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia) with MSc in Biostatistics. She is a Biometrician at Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research and mainly engaged with advising researchers on application of experimental design, method of data analysis, interpretation of results and give training of statistical methods.
