This paper will observe the effect of the global consumer culture on Bangladeshi society. It will look at the role of finance, technology, media and ideology in shaping the global consumer culture. To see the psychological impact of consumer products on people and to understand the buying habits of Bangladeshi consumers this paper will analyze different psychological factors influencing consumer behavior. Impact of the global consumer culture on Bangladeshi society and culture will be discussed in this research. With a finding of the negative effect of this consumer culture on Bangladeshi consumers this paper will propose a solution for this current issue. The impact of this global consumer culture on Bangladeshi literature will be highlighted in this research. This research is mainly based on different surveys, interviews and analytical observation of television, newspaper and magazine advertisements.
