Details
This study is to explain the relation between abusive supervision and employee's work outcomes. Moreover, this study also explain the role of gender and self-efficacy as moderating variables which are expected to provide a detailed description of the relation between abusive supervision and employee's work outcomes. The study presents a systematic review of journals indexed in Scopus, dedicated to abusive supervision and work outcomes. The result of the study is a conceptual framework which is expected to cater a new insight in the relation between abusive supervision and employee's work outcomes. Abusive supervision is potential to give positive impact on the employee's work outcomes when it is applied on the masculine gender with high self-efficacy. We offer several research propositions which can be empirically tested, and conclude with implications of the study, and research directions for future investigations.
