A NEW PARADIGM FOR TRADITIONAL APPROACHES:

The success of any treatment modality in dentistry depends upon the tools used to perform the treatment. Traditionally, osseous surgery was performed using hand instruments or various motorized devices that can run on air pressure or electrical energy. To overcome the limitations of the motorized device an advanced therapeutic device that use the principle of ultrasonic micro vibrations to make precise and selective cut on the bone in accordance with the surrounding tissues had introduced in the dentistry. One of the innovative methods to incorporate these properties of ultrasonics i.e is Piezosurgery. Piezosurgery is widely used in the field of dentistry. The application of piezosurgical device, which is an innovative invention, is not limited to dental surgery but also far beyond the horizon in most complex cases and in interdisciplinary works in the field of medical and dental sciences.
