A Novel Lean Development Approach in Software Engineering
Details
The study of Software development approaches says that Lean is one of the approaches which acts as an effective tool for stagnation persistence. Lean offers faster development with good strength. Various shortcomings exist in Lean, especially in Business requirement Documentation (BRD) and System Requirement specification (SRS). If Lean overcomes these pitfalls then it is more flexible than the Agile. To enhance the strength of documentation, two principles named C6T and W5H are proposed. These principles enhance the strategy of documentation compared with others. Process performance is estimated depending on the structure of the organization used in the development of the product. This work studies major organizational structure like team-based, functional based and matrix based. There exist some shortcomings in the above mentioned organizational structures. To overcome them, a Novel Hypercube structure along with 8 Disciplines is proposed in this work. The performance of the proposed structure is discussed in the results chapter and is showing better performance compared with other methodologies.
