A NOVEL PULSATILE DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM

A pulsatile drug delivery system is one of the most interesting time-specific drug delivery systems.in this system, the rapid and transient release of creating the number of molecules within a short time immediately after a predetermined release period Pulsatile release pattern is receiving increasing interest for the development of drugs for which conventional controlled drug-release systems with a continuous release are not dealt. The principal rationale for the use of pulsatile release is for the drugs were a constant drug release. These systems are beneficial for the drugs having chronopharmacological behavior where night-time dosing is required and for the drugs having a high first-pass effect and having a specific site of absorption in the gastrointestinal tract.
