A Novel Sound Reconstruction Technique based on Spike Codes

This work involves coding and decoding from spike based coding systems. Firstly, spikes are coded from a sound, and then it has been decoded to see how good the quality of the decoded sound was. It should be mentioned here that our brain does not reconstruct the sound, it interprets it. However, by decoding the spikes codes, we can see how good and effective the coding technique is. Both subjective and objective testing has been carried out to test the quality of the decoded sound.
