The Data Warehouse system plays a major role in guiding decision-making within an organization by providing crucial information for decision support systems. These are systems that streamline the integration of information from heterogeneous sources. They integrate data from both internal and external sources. In recent years, they have played an important role in the decision-making process. In the last few decades, the amount of information available on the web that can be used for decision support systems has increased significantly. As a result of this rapid growth, a common format, such as XML, is needed to facilitate the exchange of information between the web and the data warehouse. Security must be addressed regardless of the implementation technology, since the information managed by data warehouses is highly sensitive and critical and, therefore, has to be protected carefully.
