A Practical Manual of Population Genetics in Animal Breeding

This book deals with the fundamental problems of population genetics and quantitative genetics in animal breeding. The book covers the calculation of gene and genotype frequencies in the population and also the estimation of genetic parameters viz. heritability, repeatability and genetic correlation. For easy understanding to the readers, in different chapters after explaining the theoretical concept in brief, one example has been solved giving proper explanation. For each of the topic relevant problems/exercises are given for practice.The book will be useful to the students and also to those who are posted as animal breeders in livestock and poultry farms.
