Merle was born in 2006 in Münster, Germany. Currently, she is studying biology at the City University of Applied Sciences in Bremen, where she moved to start a new chapter of her life. Take a moment and read how these facts connect to her first book. As a child, Merle was like the wind: carefree, nature-loving, with her head in the clouds. Growing older, she only changed a bit: still deeply caring about everyone around her, especially nature. That's why she wants to become a marine biologist and connect deeper with the sea. Writing way more poetry than back in her childhood, being just a little calmer, still imaginative, her closest friends now describe her as the night sky or the sea. In 2024, she officially became an adult. As most adults and all teenagers know, growing up is terrifying and stressful. Merles ability to then leave this world, she wanted to keep in this book for you.
