A Real World system for Motion Detection and Tracking

The ability to reliably detect and track human motion is a useful tool for higher-level applications that rely on visual input.Interacting with humans and understanding their activities are at the core of many problems in intelligent systems,such as human-computer interaction and robotics. An algorithm for human motion detection digests high-band width video into a compact description of the human presence in that scene. This high-level description can then be put to use in other applications like automated surveillance system for security conscious venue's like airports, museums, casinos and government installations.
