Elemental medicine " Medical inorganic - chemistry " has grabbed the attention of researchers in the field of inorganic chemistry who are interested in the coordination field between metal ions and antibiotics. Mixed-ligand or mixed drug complexes containing nitrogen and oxygen atoms are of significant importance due to their antimicrobial and anticancer activities.In this book, we summarize what is currently known about the antibacterial capability of metal- 1,10-PHENANTHROLINE (metal-phen) , metal-paracetamol, and metal-phthalic acid complexes and their application and mechanisms of action.
