A Secure RFID ID-Card System Via Robust Image Hashing

A cryptographically secure, inexpensive and contactless biometric identity verification system is presented. The system proposed is a printout of individual s biometric feature (pictorial data) such as face, hand, iris and a textual message. Furthermore, an HF RFID tag that involves RSA signature, compressed representations of the textual and pictorial data printed on a PVC card provides contactless communication. Digital signature is created using the private key of the signer. Verification is performed by an intelligent device involving a USB Camera and a RFID Reader. The work is completed under the supervision of Kivanc Mihcak.

He received the B.S. degree from Bilkent University in 2006 and M.S. degree from Böaziçi Universty in 2009 all in electrical and electronics engineering. Currently, he works as a senior software developer in SoftTech. He is focused on mobile software and hardware development.
