A Socio-cultural Analysis of the Situation of Married Women in Morocco

This book tackles a socio-cultural investigation on the position of women moving from the west in general to Morocco in particular. Its purpose is to check on Moroccans' attitudes towards the application of the new family code of 2004 in relation to under-aged married girls and other issues respectively like marriage, divorce, child custody, and polygamy. The major purpose behind it, is to explore whether the outcomes of the new family code of 2004 are applied in the Moroccan society.

Dr. Rym Asserraji promovierte 2013 in Ästhetik und Humanwissenschaften an der Fakultät für Literatur und Humanwissenschaften der Universität Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Dhar EL Mehraz, Fes, Marokko.
