This research study focused on determining an effective financial management model for promotion of Microfinance Institutions Development in post conflicts countries using Burundi as a case study 2005-2019. Researched used descriptive and exploratory research methodology to address research problem and test three main objectives and hypothesis. The first objective was determination of key leadership and management attributes with influence effect on effective financial management model for Microfinance Institutions Development in post conflict countries including Burundi. The second focused on exploration of key financial management functions with influence on effective financial management model for MFIs development and third objective tackled determination of effective financial management model for MFIs development in post conflict countries using Burundi as a case study.
