A Study of Health Related Physical Fitness of Senior Secondary School

The book is on the study of Health Related Physical Fitness of 2000 Secondary School Students (boys) of Punjab State of India. It compares the Health Related Physical Fitness of rural and urban students.Following results were concluded: 1. Level of health related physical fitness varied among 17 and 18 years rural and urban senior secondary school boys. 2. Eighteen years rural senior secondary school boys had higher level of cardio-respiratory function than their urban and younger counterparts. 3. Eighteen years urban senior secondary school boys had higher body composition as compared to their other counterparts whereas, 18 years rural school boys were having lower body composition than their younger counterparts. 4. Abdominal muscular strength endurance was greater among 18 year urban senior secondary school boys. 5. Eighteen year rural and 17 year rural school boys were more flexible than their urban counterparts. 6. Health related physical fitness status of Punjab school boys were much below than that of their American counterparts. 7.
