This book presents preverbal suffixes [ni, di, sa, daa, too/toi, pu, kuli, lee, yaa, dii]in Dagbanli. It further examines the Dagbanli Post verbal particles [la, mi, ha/sa, na]. The verb suffixes [-ra, -da, -na, -ta, -ri, -di, -ti, -ni, -ya] are also looked at. These particles and suffixes are examined in great detail, discussing their syntactic distribution and the syntactic roles that they are assigned in the language.

The author is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Languages and Liberal Studies, Tamale Polytechnic,Ghana. He is a Ph.D candidate in the applied Linguistics Department of the University of Education, Winneba. He has MA in TESL and M-Phil in Applied Linguistics from University of Ghana and University of Education respectively.
