A Study on ERP Implementation Success Factors in Indian Power Utilities

Every business nowadays needs a systematic control approach. IT application helps to achieve the same. ERP is an IT application tool. ERP Implementation needs a step by step methodology in order to get the desired success. Every business looks for success in ERP application/implementation which primarily depends on some success factors, which are commonly known as Critical Success Factors(CSF). These success factors, mostly generic in nature, are the same, regardless from the business in which are applied. But some are industry specific as well country specific. Current study tried to identify those Utility Business Specific Factors for Indian Scenario.
