A Study on Farmers' Vulnerability to Climate Change in Uttar Pradesh

This book explores the interaction between climate change and the agriculture sector. Agriculture is essential to the livelihood of people and nations, especially in the developing world; therefore, any impact on it will have significant economic, social, and political ramifications. The book also discusses the impact of Climate change especially in eastern part of Uttar Pradesh on the economic aspects of agriculture farmers' and describes in particular how climate change/variability is affecting rainfall, temperature. It also suggests adaptation techniques which can be evolved to neutralize the adverse effects of climate change. The book also explores the loopholes in the agricultural system which affects the farmers due to climate change.

La Dra. Harshika Choudhary, que actualmente trabaja como investigadora asociada en B.H.U ha sido incesantemente diligente en la búsqueda de un título en Economía Agrícola. Completó su B.Sc. (2007-2011) y M.Sc. (2013) en Economía Agrícola de G.B.P.U.A.T, Pantnagar. Recibió su título de doctorado de la Universidad Banaras Hindu, Varanasi, en noviembre de 2018.
