A Study on the Computation of the Determinants of a 3x3 Matrix

Determinant functions have important applications to the theory of systems of linear equations and to find the inverse of an invertible matrix. Previously a number of methods exist to compute the determinant of a matrix.This study contain several methods including new methods to compute the determinants of a 3x3 matrix and it is very fast and easy to use. This manuscript enables you for further research to compute higher order determinants.

I have received my BSc. degree in 2009 from Dire Dawa University in Mathematics and M.Sc degree in Applied Mathematics from Mekelle University in 2011. I was intended International Conference held in Ethiopia from June 25-29,2012. At this time I am head of Mathematics and Statistics department and instructor at Bule Hora University in Ethiopia.
