A SURVEY OF THE GENERAL EPISTLES

The New Testament is a peculiar piece of literature that requires expertise and critical study for deeper understanding. The General Epistles are a counterpart to the Pauline corpus, and they provide a balance in terms of diversity and representation of early Christian literature. The overarching aim of this discourse is to inform and deepen the reader's knowledge of the non-Pauline category of New Testament literature. Conducting background studies on the books of the New Testament is essential as part of the procedures for exegetical studies. This book provides a multipronged approach to understanding the historical contexts and the text of each book in the General Epistles.
