Details

This study aims to investigate how the Covid-19 pandemic has affectedtourists' perceptions of travel risk and management. We investigate how tourists perceive travel risk and management and how it affects society in light of the pandemic's effects. Using a representative sample technique, data from social media networks was gathered, and the PLS-SEM tool was used to analyse it. The research results show that the Covid-19 epidemic has had a significant impact on views of travel risk and management. The impression of travel risk and management was significantly correlated with risk management, service delivery, travel patterns, distribution channels, avoiding crowded places to visit, and cleanliness and safety. The findings also revealed how management views and travel risk had a balancing impact. The results of this study have implications for future research on the travel and tourism industry as well as suggestions for how to alter travellers' views of travel risk and risk management throughout the post-crisis recovery era.
