A textbook on Boiler Automation using Lab VIEW

The modern world of electronics is looking for so many solutions over and controlling the physical parameters of power plant. Digitizing such monitoring and controlling system will be much useful while extracting data for service or maintenance reports. Temperature controlling is one of such system by which the temperature of the boiler can be controlled and monitored using Lab VIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Workbench) simulation software. The conventional system uses a value which open and close at periodic intervals to maintain the temperature. The disadvantages of employing more about give use to a technique which used a PLC for control. This method was also not successful due it's over implementation cost. In this work Lab VIEW is used as controlling tool for maintaining the temperature of boiler as a constant value throughout the process. This process as proved to be an efficient and low cost effective method of control.
