A theological investigation of materialism and its implications

Materialism and its Implications is a masterpiece and an important work that reveals unhealthy attitudes of some Christians who prioritize earthly riches over heavenly riches, leading to vices like injustice, immorality, murder, theft, embezzlement, bribery, corruption, and the like that have crept into the church. This has caused some Christians to drift from trusting God to trusting in the power of money, leading to spiritual decline and less sensitivity to the things of the Spirit. This work reveals theological perspectives on materialism and a proper attitude towards material possession, stressing that Scripture does not condemn the acquisition of material things but excessive desire for them. It highlights prioritizing heavenly riches over earthly riches and applying contentment to one's life as inevitable prerequisites for conquering materialism. This work is a resource material and catalyst for the remolding of characters, spiritual transformation, social and economic development, leading to spiritual growth and improvement of human well-being.
