A Walk In My Forest leads through landscapes of identity, neurodiversity, and acceptance. Raw, honest and vulnerable, it tells stories of grief and self-doubt, internalised ableism, the echoes of childhood memories and the storms of adulthood revelations. Each chapter reveals layers of emotion and insight to the authors experience as a late - diagnosed autistic. It is a testament to self compassion and self-love. It aims to inspire others to embrace their own unique journey and find solace in the forest of their own minds.

Chirinna is an Austrian artist, author and media design graduate whose life story is a testament to resilience, self-reflection, and the pursuit of self-discovery. After years of struggling to understand their place in the world, Chirinna received an autism diagnosis at the age of 33, providing clarity and validation to a lifetime of experiences. Their favourite place to be is on thin ice and they enjoy the company of clumsy bumblebees and weary interdimensional travelers.
