This work aimed to isolate and identify the common scab pathogen, study the variation between the isolates of the pathogen by production of some enzymes, virulence of gene, effect of certain fungicides, antibiotics and bioagents on the pathogen under in vivo and in vitro conditions, as well as reaction of some potato cultivars against common scab, and the role of constituents on their resistance to bacterial common scab.
