During the last decades, the number of orthodontic patientswith esthetic concerns and time limitations for long treatments hasincreased significantly.Several techniques have been proposed, although the indications, ideal design and technical characteristics, potential complications, and objective clinician and patient satisfaction remain unclear.The purpose ofthe present publication is to describe and understand the different methods used in accelerated orthodontics.
