The study assessed the number and distance of health facilities in the camp of displaced persons and examined the influence of social factors (socioeconomic and demographic) characteristics of internally displaced persons on their utilization of maternal health care services in camps of displaced persons in North Central Nigeria. It also examined the factors that influenced access to maternal health care services in the camp of the displaced persons and investigated the level of responsiveness of the Nigerian government to the provision of maternal health care services to the internally displaced persons in the study area.

Abolade Surajudeen was born on 28th of July, 1972 at Ibadan. He had his Primary and Secondary education in Lagos, he also had his Bachelor of Science degree in Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife in Demography and Social statistic, where he did is Master of Science in the same Field of Study.
