Accurate detection of vowel onset points in the mobile environment

This book provides algorithms for the accurate detection of vowel onset points in the mobile environment such as coding and noisy environments. Vowel onset point is one of the important speech events in speech processing. The algorithms are described and explained in a manner so that anyone, who has little knowledge about digital signal processing, can easily understand the concept. This text is intended primarily for research and master students.
