Acoustic Wireless Sensor for Pest Detection in Cauliflower

Agriculture is a backbone of India. It is one of the major domains which decides the economy of the nation. During the yielding time pest is the major parameter which affects the product. In India almost every farmer uses chemical pesticides to protect his crops from diseases and pests. Due to pests and diseases attacks on the crops, farmer have to take economic losses every year. Pesticides exposure can cause neurological health effects like hypersensitivity, cancer and asthma. Because of all issue discussed above, it is very important to spread awareness about pest management to farmers. This paper would discuss and give a solution to the exiting shortcoming in the pesticide management during the cultivation process. This work focus on the development of identifying pests on the agriculture environment to get a good efficiency of organic food.
