Acupuncture for Heel Pain

Acupuncture therapy has potential interest in several areas of podiatry and as an application to practice, is a recent treatment modality. Only a limited number of studies were found regarding the use of acupuncture using needles or laser acupuncture and in the management of common foot disorders including heel pain. The studies have also found that acupuncture can be an effective form of pain relief for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions including heel pain syndromes.
