The mission of public health is to fulfill the interest of society in assuring conditions in which people can be healthy. Health promotion is considered a core quality dimension of hospital services as well as patient safety and clinical effectiveness. Health administration is the management of resources, procedures, and systems that operate to meet patients' needs and wants in the health care system. Patients, the only reason for the existence of hospitals, need services which are reasonably accessible and readily available at all times. Hence the hospital must strive for maximum patient satisfaction and provide patient oriented service.In this changed environment hospital should act as social institution to impart confidence among the patients.
