Adolescents and Sex Education: A Quasi-Experimental Analysis

This study explores adolescent's knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions concerning sex education, focusing on how educational interventions can enhance their understanding and influence their attitudes toward sexual health. Acknowledging that adolescence is a crucial stage for developing attitudes and gaining knowledge about sexual matters, the research aimed to assess the impact of structured sex education programs on adolescent's awareness and perspectives. Effective initiatives should go beyond simply increasing awareness; they must also work to transform social norms, promote open communication, and empower young people to confidently discuss their sexual health. Successful sex education involves not only imparting knowledge but also creating a supportive environment that encourages dialogue and challenges prevailing social attitudes.
