Adolescents Internet Use: Exploring Indian Parents Perspective

Adolescents effective use of internet relies heavily on the factors surrounding them, thus parents views and attitudes are crucial for their productive use of internet. Besides, parental awareness on internet helps parents to reflect to the related issues of internet, thus their aptitude for internet usage is also a vital aspect. This study tries to reveal the perspective of parents on adolescents internet use in terms of safety, security, responsibility, supervision, risk perception, involvement, communication and impact of parental warmth in terms of their support.
