Adoption of Biogas in Rural Kenya

This study explores the adoption of Biogas as an alternative energy source in low income rural areas of Kenya, with a particular focus on the dairy producing highlands. Biogas production is a highly cost effective source of energy that is clean and easy to maintain. Benefits of biogas include lighting and heating. It has also been considered to be a rich source of slow nutrient release manure with immense benefits to soil fertility
