Adoption of improved rice production technologies

The book adoption of improved rice production technologies emphasized the adoption of improved rice technologies among farmers. It brings to light the main reasons for adopting improved rice technologies and the major constraints faced in the adoption process. The objectives of the study were to describe the socio-economic characteristics of rice farmers, identify the sources of information on improved rice technologies by the farmers, determine the types of technologies adopted by the farmers and their level of adoption, determine the factors affecting farmers adoption of improved rice, determine the effect of adoption of improved rice technologies on the output of rice and identify the constraints faced by rice farmers.
