Adult Education as a catalyst for the empowerment of Tshwane citizens

The purpose of this research is to investigate how Adult Education acts as catalyst to empower the citizens in Tshwane Municipality of Gauteng Province RSA. The study highlights the purpose and value of Adult Education in comparison with the result of Adult Education (AE) in the empowerment, growth and development of the people who received the training. The research finding reveals that Adult Education did to certain extent empower the citizens but not covering all areas of their lives. It must be understood that the conclusions have been performed for all the topics in the study. The analysis and interpretations were separately done for descriptive analyses. This is further adopted in the conclusion where the findings have been accorded conclusions. The conclusions are based on summaries of the analyses, drawing brief comments on the detailed interpretations.
