Advance Manufacturing Approach for Medical Application

This book is about the role of Mechanical Engineering advancements in Medical equipment and accessories development. This book solely explains the procedure followed to develop a prototype for 3d printed locking compression plate (LCP). The whole work is done with the author's students at her university research center. This book explains the sequence of steps followed to create patient-specific Locking Compression Plates(LCP)using advanced techniques like 3d LASER scan, 3d Printing, and Composite Materials. Also here in this work the method followed is posterior LCP which need further analysis using ANSYS for its strength and also for the medical possibility which is under progress.
