Details

Power electronics is continuously developing in various multidisciplinary fields for example in the renewable energy conversion systems. Especially, as recently we observe fast development in control theory, computational intelligence, wind energy control, photovoltaic system control, and the supervision of conversion systems which all strongly influence new solutions in control of power electronics. Therefore, the chapter is written by the author in the area of modern advanced control methods that penetrate the control strategies and their implementation of power converters used in renewable energy conversion systems. Although some of the proposed methods are still not adopted by the industry, they create improved solutions in the research fields and industrialization of these methods later.
