Advances in electronics for telemedicine

The book collects some of the most important results of the research activity of the author in the field of the electronic applied to the telemedicine. Infact, some of innovative telemedicine devices invented as by the author as by other authors are described, patented or patent pending, employing the most advanced technologies, i.e. internet, the wireless technology together with the high miniaturization degree achieved by the integrated circuit technology.

Agostino Giorgio was born in Bari, Italy, in 1969.He received the laurea degree cum laude in electronicengineering from the Politecnico di Bari, Bari, Italy,in 1994. From 1994, he was with the Electrical and ElectronicDepartment of the Politecnico di Bari, where he held the positionof Researcher Professor in Electronics.
