This collection examines the role that adventure has played and continues to play in French and Irish society and culture in areas as diverse as literature, theatre, war journalism, painting, photography, sport and diplomatic dining.
Autorentext
Brigitte Bastiat holds a PhD in Media and Communication Studies (University of Paris Saint-Denis). She taught English at the University of La Rochelle for 25 years and was a member of the CRHIA (EA 1163 Research Centre for International Atlantic History). Frank Healy holds a PhD in Immunology, is a lecturer in English for Special Purposes at La Rochelle Université, and a member of the CRHIA (EA 1163 Research Centre for Atlantic and International History).
