Advocacy for frail and incompetent elderly

Within the aging populations the questions of protection of frail and incompetent elderly in Europe have become significant. The aim of the project is to find out the possibilities of creation of a system of protection of frail and incompetent elderly that would enable them to spend their life in dignity and protected their invertible and indefeasible human rights. The analysis is based on three main pillars: 1) legal analysis of the guardianship systems; 2) social demographic analysis of the data necessary for understanding the guardianship system and alternative solutions. The outcome of the project is going to be definition of main problems, examples of appropriate solutions and presentation of alternative solutions. The research of the statistic Framework consists of free basic parts: 1) description and analysis of the empiric reality of the guardianship system; 2) description and analysis of the initial factors reflecting the demographic and socio-cultural situation in the context of the guardianship system; 3) predicted development of the social demographic situation.
